Benjamin Netanyahu due in N’Djamena Sunday

APA-N'Djaména (Chad) by Adam Hassane Deyé

Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu is expected on Sunday in N’Djamena, Chad, at the invitation President Idriss Déby, sources close to the Chadian presidency told APA on Thursday.

Netanyahu is travelling to Chad after President Déby’s visit to Tel Aviv on November 25, 2018. On that occasion, the latter expressed his wish to see relations with Israel restored.

The two countries broke off diplomatic ties in the 1970s at the request of N’Djamena.
