The heads of world football’s governing body, Gianni Infantino and Ahmad Ahmad, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), will visit Togo on Wednesday, the Togolese Football Federation (FTF) has announced.

“The two officials will be accompanied by FIFA Secretary General, Senegalese Fatma Samba Diouf Samoura,” the FTF said in a statement.

FTF said during their stay, the visiting officials will hold talks “with the highest authorities of our country on issues of common interest and the authorities of the Togo’s football governing body.”

Togolese football has been managed since February 2016 by Colonel Guy Gbezonde Kossi Akpovi, who took over from the former head of the normalization committee Horacio Freitas.
