eSwatini: Princes and princesses on mandatory 14-day quarantine

APA-Mbabane (eSwatini)

Children of King Mswati III who are studying abroad have been placed on mandatory quarantine for 14 days after their return to eSwatini, APA learnt here on Monday.

The princes and princesses are attending school and colleges in countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States.

They returned after the world was hit by the Coronavirus, leading to many countries going on partial and total lockdown for periods ranging from 20 days to months.

Chief protocol officer Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze told the press that the children are currently kept at the Royal Villas while waiting for results of their tests to be released.

In a move to prevent the spread of the virus, eSwatini is placing all returning residents on 14-day quarantine in two hospitals that have been reserved for this purpose.
