King Mswati discusses cooperation with leaders of Uruguay, Estonia, Argentina

King Mswati III of eSwatini has held private talks with Uruguay President Tabare Vazquez, Estonia President Kersti Kaljulaid and Argentina President Mauricio Macri to discuss bilateral cooperation between the southern African kingdom and three countries, APA learnt here on Saturday.

The meetings took place on Friday on the sidelines of the South-South Conference taking place in Argentinian capital Buenos Aires where the bigger discussion is on development strategies aimed at attaining the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

According to sources who attended the closed-door meetings, Mswati agreed with the respective leaders to strengthen cooperation with their countries, particularly in the areas of trade and investment.

The king is accompanied by Commerce, Industry and Trade Minister Manqoba Khumalo and Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Thuli Dladla.
