APA - Rabat (Morocco)

King Mohammed VI of Morocco, successfully underwent surgery on Sunday at the clinic of the Royal Palace in Rabat, a statement from the monarch's medical team says.

The king suffered a recurrence of the auricular flutter-type heart rhythm disorder on a healthy heart, the statement explains.

His doctors recommended a complementary ablation by radiofrequency, which took place on Sunday June 14 at a clinic inside his palace.

The operation ended in “complete success,” like the previous surgery carried out on February 26, 2018 in Paris, with the restoration of the normal heart rhythm, the statement points out.
