S/African Airways to resume flights to Mauritius in November

APA-Johannesburg (South Africa)

South African Airways is set to resume flights to Mauritius in November as part of the struggling airline moves to regain markets following more than a year of operational challenges.

Announcing the latest development on Thursday, SAA said it would resume flights to the Mauritian capital Port Louis from November 21.

“Our flights will initially operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays,” the airline said.

SAA has been grounded since March 2020 when the airline entered into bankruptcy proceedings.

It resumed domestic flights on September 22, with a flight from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International to Cape Town.
