Farifima International Cosmetology School is the newest cosmetology institution in Senegal.

It is the result of a collaboration between the company FariFima Cosmetics and the Vocational and Technical Training Fund (3FTP).

Its creation is in line with the mission statement of the Senegalese government to establish a concrete response to the capacity building needs of the private sector and to the issue of youth employability, the promoters of the institution said in a statement on Monday.

In line with international standards, this new training offer aims to eventually four cohorts of 30 students for the year 2021.

The first cohort has already begun training since April 1.

After five months of theoretical training, the new learners will complete their training within companies with practices and projects based on a multidisciplinary scientific foundation for a period of one month.

In addition, the discovery and creation of companies will be an integral part of the training on a curriculum designed and proposed for a pragmatic insertion into the world of work, the statement added.
