Senegal’s Macky Sall in quarantine over Covid-19

Senegal's President Macky Sall, after having been in contact with a person tested positive for the new coronavirus, has gone into isolated for 14 days, reports said on Thursday.

Macky Sall has previously tested negative, a press release from the Presidency of the Republic and seen by APA announces.

However, in accordance with the medical recommendations on the matter, the Senegalese leader “quarantined himself for a period of two weeks starting on Wednesday June 24.”

To date, Senegal has 6,129 cases of Covid-19 with 93 deaths.
