Nigeria generates over $2bn from rice sub-sector

APA – Lagos (Nigeria) — Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, says the country’s rice sub-sector has generated about N470 billion (about $2.61bn) to the Nigerian economy in the three and half years of the implementation of the rice transformation agenda of the present administration.

New World Bank push to revive agriculture in Ebola-hit countries
