    Planned Mozambique floating liquefied gas plant passes environmental tests

    APA-Maputo (Mozambique) — The preliminary report on the environmental impact study, drawn up by the Mozambican consultancy company Consultec, say the proposal by Italian energy firm ENI to build a floating liquefied natural gas factory (FLNG) off the coast of Cabo Delgado province has shown that the project is environmentally sound if all the mitigation measures to deal with possibly critical impacts are implemented.
