The event takes place from February 20 to 25, 2018, bringing together 20 couturiers and models, according to the organizers.
There will also be a fashion show on February 22 and 24, and a public auction on Sunday, February 25, as part of the festival.
In addition to Togo, seven of whose outstanding talents and fashion labels will be honored the 2018 Fimo228 will witness the participation of representatives from Senegal, Congo, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Niger and Gabon.
Togo’s flagship International Fashion Festival was launched in Lome in 2013 by a team of young people immersed in the world of culture and fashion.
“We are careful about preserving our spirit of young entrepreneurs, which is essential to foster creation, develop new ideas and advance the festival,” event promoter, Jacques Locoh said.
