The current chairman of the African Union (AU) participated this Tuesday morning in a virtual meeting of the European Council.

On Twitter, the successor of Felix Tshisekedi to the rotating presidency of the African Union (AU) thanked the European leaders who involved him in the search for "solutions" to this problem "which impacts Africa".
Macky Sall assured that "the AU will continue to work with the EU" to this end. The Senegalese president, mandated by the pan-African organisation, is due to travel to Moscow and then to Kiev from 3 June to meet his counterparts Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky.
