UNECA lauds Rwanda for developing, strengthening statistical system

APA-Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) — Over the years, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) witnessed Rwanda’s consistent efforts in developing and strengthening its statistical system and improving the quality of official statistics. Using international principles and recommendations, the country has formulated the National Strategy for Development of Statistics for the period of 2014/15-2018/19 in its determination to improve data and statistics.
