APA – Kigali (Rwanda) – Rwanda’s head coach Gerard Buschier on Thursday released a 23-man squad list of players to play Rwanda’s last AFCON 2023 qualifying match against Senegal in Huye on 9 September.
The French manager went for familiar faces in naming his squad list including goalkeeper Yves Kimenyi and forward Dominique Savio Nshuti.

Defenders: Omborenga Fitina, Serumogo Ali, Ishimwe Ganijuru Elie, Ishimwe Christian, Mutsinzi Ange, Rwatubyaye Abdul, Manzi Thierry, Buregeya Prince and Nshimiyimana Yunussu.
Midfielders: Bizimana Djihad, Iradukunda Siméon, Mugisha Bonheur, Muhozi Fred, Byiringiro Lague, Ruboneka Jean Bosco and Niyibizi Ramadhan.
Forwards: Mugenzi Bienvenue, Nshuti Dominique Savio, Mugisha Didier, Hakizimana Muhadjiri, Nshuti Innocent and Mugisha Gilbert.
Group L of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification tournament is one of the twelve groups that will decide two of the 24 teams that shall qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. This group consists of four teams: Defending champions Senegal, Benin, Mozambique and Rwanda.
