The ministerial reshuffle was carried out with changes in key posts such as Foreign Affairs, Trade and Transport.
The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Thursday, reshuffled the government, the spokesman of the Algerian presidency told a press briefing.
The reshuffle affected ten departments, namely, Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Promotion, Youth and Sports, Finance, Transport, Tourism, Digitalization and Statistics, but also Environment and Renewable Energies, Fisheries and Fisheries Productions and Hydraulics.
Here are the new ministers appointed:
Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Ahmed Attaf replaces Ramtane Lamamra
Ministry of Trade: Tayeb Zitouni replaces Kamel Rezig
Ministry of Youth and Sports: Abderrahmane Hammad replaces Abderezak Sebgag
Ministry of Transport: Youcef Cherfa replaces Kamel Beldjoud
Ministry of Finance: Abdelaziz Fayed replaces Brahim Djamel Kessali
Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts: Mokhtar Didouche replaces Yacine Hamadi
Ministry of Digitisation and Statistics: Meriem Ben Miloud replaces Houcine Charhabil
Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energies: Faiza Dahleb replaces Samia Moualfi
Ministry of Fisheries and Halieutic Productions: Ahmed Badani replaces Hichem Sofiane Salaouatchi
Ministry of Hydraulics: Taha Derbal
Furthermore, Abdelaziz Khellaf was appointed Minister of State, Advisor to the President, Mohamed Nadir Larbaoui, Chief of Staff at the Presidency and Yahia Boukhari, Secretary General of the Government.
