APA – Kigali (Rwanda) – Belgian road race cyclist Jonathan Verven on Sunday won Stage 1 of the 16th edition of Tour du Rwanda covering a distance of 18.3 KM in Kigali and its outskirts.
Verven, 20, riding for Soudal Quick-Step Devo Team, has emerged as the winner of Stage 1 in 20 minutes and 32 seconds
