Two persons have been reported killed and scores of others injured on Thursday morning in Lagos when a train rammed into a bus at the PWD bus stop in the Ikeja area of the state.
Local media reports quoted the spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency in Lagos, Ibrahim Farinloye, as saying that two adult female staff of the Lagos State Government died in the accident and that several injured persons had been evacuated.
“The State Government staff bus was trying to cross the PWD/Sogunle rail crossing, while the train coming into Lagos from Abeokuta trapped the bus on its rail,” Farinloye said.
