APA – Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the definitive abolition of visas for ordinary Burkinabe passport holders traveling to Morocco.
From now on, citizens of Burkina Faso with an ordinary passport wishing to travel to Morocco will no longer need to apply for a visa.
Through a note signed on March 07, 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso issued a notice about the definitive entry into force of the visa exemption for ordinary Burkinabe passports being used to travel to the Kingdom of Morocco.
The visa waiver is the result of an agreement signed by the two countries in Dakhla on 23 October 2020.
The agreement was provisionally in force since 22 December 2020.
In addition to Morocco, Burkina Faso has a visa exemption agreement with Tunisia.
