Speaking on national radio on Monday, PM Ngrébada said the formation of the new cabinet is the start to implementing the peace agreement reached in the Sudanese capital Khartoum last month.
He resented the dissatisfaction of the armed groups over being left out of the 36-member cabinet details of which were released last Sunday.
The cabinet, which includes only six of the 14 armed groups that signed the Khartoum peace agreement, was supposed to be all-inclusive, according to the terms of the deal.
Referring to this, Prime Minister Ngrébada indicated that the provisions of Article 34 of the Khartoum Peace Agreement provides for a crisis resolution mechanism by the facilitators of the negotiations and not the use of violence, in the event of a difference of opinion.
Thus, according to Ngrébada, “dissatisfied behaviour” constitutes a violation of the article of the agreement in question.
