Four people died on Monday in a gunfight between villagers in the department of Alépé, north-east of Abidjan.
Security sources, who did not specify the motives for the clashes, told APA that in addition to the four deaths, several homes were ransacked and burned.
A hundred or so members of the police force were deployed on the ground where measures were taken to put an end to these disturbances of public order.
Thus, the entrance and exit of the village are held as well as the place of the drama. A patrol was also set up.
