APA – N’Djamena (Chad) – An inter-ministerial committee will be set up to propose ways forward.
At a meeting chaired by transitional Prime Minister Saleh Kebzabo, a report on the inventory of state reserves was presented.
According to the report, presented by the Minister of Urban Planning and Housing, there are 1,529 state reserves in the capital, N’Djamena.
Of these 1,529, 403 are occupied by residential buildings, 88 by shops and 389 by state and private buildings for public use.
However, as the report points out, “most of these are illegally occupied”.
An inter-ministerial committee will be set up to implement the head of state’s instructions in this regard and to propose ways forward.
