The campaign focused on educating individuals about electrical risks, the importance of respecting electrical right-of-ways, and the proper use of electrical appliances. CIE’s occupational safety department organized workshops and demonstrations to provide practical knowledge on electrical safety.
Participants learned about the dangers of occupying electrical right-of-ways, which can hinder operations and maintenance and increase the risk of accidents. They were also instructed on maintaining safe distances from electrical installations and using appliances that comply with electrical safety standards.
The campaign extended to the gendarmerie, with training sessions aimed at equipping officers with knowledge on electrical risks and enabling them to respond effectively to accidents. Subcontractors were also provided with training on preventing electrical risks within their specific work contexts.
Through these efforts, CIE aims to reduce electrical accidents and promote a safer environment for all.
