The price of premium unleaded gasoline will rise from 695 to 735 CFA francs, representing an increase of 40 CFA francs per liter in Cote d’Ivoire for the period from June 1 to 30, 2022, according to an official statement to APA on Wednesday.
According to the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons, for the period from 1 to 30 June 2022, a liter of super unleaded gasoline in the ambient goes from 695 to 735 FCFA/liter, an increase of 40 FCFA.
A liter of diesel remains at 615 FCFA as in May 2022.
The price of a liter of kerosene also increased from 615 CFA to 645 CFA francs per liter for the month of June 2022, an increase of 30 CFA francs.
Due to the lack of electricity coverage in some rural parts of the country, kerosene is used a lot in the countryside and in villages.
As for butane gas, the prices of the different categories of bottles are also maintained.
Thus, the 6 kg (B6) and 12.5 kg (B12.5) gas cylinders remain stable at 2,000 CFA francs and 5,200 CFA francs, respectively.
The 15 kg bottle remains unchanged at 6,965 CFA francs, the 17.5 kg bottle at 8,125 CFA francs.
The 25 kg bottle is sold at 11,610 CFA francs. Finally, the 28 kg bottle is set at 13.000 CFA francs.
