APA-Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) The prices of gasoline, diesel and other petroleum products remain unchanged for the period from December 1 to 31, 2023 nationwide, according to a note from the General Directorate of Hydrocarbons.
Super unleaded gasoline is sold at 875 CFA francs per liter at the pump. The price of this fuel was increased by 60 CFA francs in October 2023, in line with world prices, from 815 CFA francs to 875 CFA francs per liter.
Diesel, which is widely used in the transport sector, remains unchanged at 715 CFA francs per liter. The price of diesel, raised by 60 CFA francs in October 2023, was also increased by 40 CFA francs in February 2023, from 615 CFA francs to 655 CFA francs.
The price of kerosene remains at 745 CFA francs per liter ambient, according to data from the General Directorate of Hydrocarbons, which also indicates that butane gas prices will remain unchanged in November 2023.
The 6 kg bottle remains at 2,000 CFA francs and the 12.5 kg bottle at 5,200 CFA francs. The 15 kg bottle is priced at 6,965 CFA francs, the 17.5 kg bottle at 8,125 CFA francs, the 25 kg bottle at 11,610 CFA francs and the 28 kg bottle at 13,000 CFA francs.
Prices of petroleum products in Côte d’Ivoire are adjusted each month in accordance with the provisions of the automatic mechanism for setting hydrocarbon prices. This is based on international market prices.
