The prices at the gas station of unleaded premium gasoline and diesel, in Cote d’Ivoire, have increased slightly from 600 CFA francs to 615 CFA francs per liter over the period from April 6 to 30, 2021.
The maximum retail price of petroleum products for the period from April 6 to April 30, 2021 indicates a cost for super unleaded gasoline at room temperature of 615 CFA/liter, against 600CFA/liter in previous months, as well as that of the diesel, according to a note from the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons sento APA on Tuesday.
The kerosene oil has remained unchanged at 555 CFA per liter at room temperature, for several years. This petroleum product is widely used in rural areas and villages, where people do not have access to electricity.
The price of the 6 kg (B 6) butane gas bottle has also remained the same at 2,000 CFA francs. Likewise the cost of the 12.5 kg bottle that is widely used in households in the country has remained unchanged at 5,200 CFA francs.
The 15 kg bottle is set at 6,965 CFA and that of 17.5 kg at 8,125 CFA. As for the 25 kg bottle, it is sold at 11,610 CFA and the 28 kg at 13,000 CFA.
This price adjustment of petroleum products in Cote d’Ivoire is carried out every month, in accordance with the provisions of the automatic mechanism for the prices of hydrocarbons on the international market.
