The Ivorian Minister of Reconciliation and National Cohesion, Bertin Konan Kouadio and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Bin Hamad Alsubaiee, on Monday in Abidjan, exchanged views on their two countries’ bilateral cooperation.
During a closed-door meeting of about an hour, Minister Bertin Konan Kouadio and Ambassador Abdullah Bin Hamad Alsubaiee reviewed ways to strengthen the reconciliation process underway in Cote d’Ivoire.
The tête-à-tête between the two delegations focused on strengthening the quality of relations between the two countries. The Ivorian minister welcomed this visit which, according to him, augurs a better future for Ivorian-Saudi cooperation.
“(…) Our cooperation ties are very good. This is reflected in this trip as well,” said Minister KKB, thanking “Saudi Arabia for all its efforts to accompany Cote d’Ivoire on the road to peace.”
Earlier, the Saudi diplomat said he had taken note of the picture painted by the Minister in charge of reconciliation and national cohesion.
He recalled the visit made by Minister KKB to the Chancery of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Abidjan. On that occasion, the two men had already “discussed ways and means to strengthen cooperation relations between Saudi Arabia and Côte d’Ivoire.”
