Competition is heating up as companies like Yango, a leading tech company, recognize their delivery partners’ contributions. Yango recently held a special event to honor their drivers, rewarding top performers with recognition and prizes, including a motorbike.
San Traore, Managing Director of Yango Delivery, emphasized the positive impact of their partnership: “We’re proud to develop the delivery sector together, creating value and opportunities for many. This has a tangible socio-economic impact.”
Yango acknowledges the delivery partners’ role as “valuable users” of their technology. The event included training sessions on quality standards, road safety, and financial management to further empower the drivers.
Serge Eric Gnamkey, Managing Director of Yango’s food ordering subsidiary, highlighted the drivers’ importance: “We value our relationship with the couriers. They significantly contribute to the country’s social and economic fabric.”
The event resonated with the drivers. Kadidjatou Drame, a partner courier, expressed her delight at being celebrated, while Urbain Kientenga appreciated the company organizing the ceremony.
San Traore announced upcoming technological innovations aimed at increasing drivers’ deliveries and income. Yango also plans to enhance driver efficiency through capacity building programs.
