The eSwatini government on Tuesday disinfected the offices of three media houses in the capital Mbabane as part of measures to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
The government announced that teams from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Health and the Eswatini National Disaster Management Agency disinfected the offices of Eswatini Television, Eswatini Observer and Channel YemaSwati.
The decision to disinfect the offices of media houses is part of efforts to protect journalists from contracting the disease, which had as of Monday infected 116 people and claimed a life in the kingdom.
Eswatini is on a five-week partial lockdown that commenced on 27 March.
