The statement by the ECOWAS Commission stated that it is a comprehensive process of improving and transforming key internal and external aspects of organizations to integrate gender equality principles and practices in the institutional architecture and culture.
It added that through this process, public institutions are provided with a practical blueprint to implement institutional reforms to ensure that gender equality concerns are integrated into their work.
