Egypt, on Tuesday announced the postponement to March 4, of the extraordinary Arab League Summit on the situation in Gaza, initially scheduled for next week in Cairo.
According to the statement by the Foreign Ministry, the extraordinary Arab League Summit on Gaza is an emergency meeting convened by its 22 member states to discuss major regional crises and adopt common positions.
It added that the new date was set in coordination with Bahrain, which holds the rotating Presidency of the Arab League, as well as other member countries.
“This postponement is part of the logistical preparations related to the organization of the summit, Egyptian diplomacy specified,” the statement said.
