A total of 4.5 million travellers have been screened at all ports of entry to Ethiopia, according to Dr Amir Aman, Ethiopia’s Minister of Health.
About 30,000 travellers have been screened per day, he said.
Ethiopia established five screening sites at Bole International Airport, 21 at land crossings, and three at Dire Dawa, Mekelle and Bahir Dar airports, he said on Twitter on Saturday.
