APA-Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) Ethiopian Airlines is set to start daily flight services to Angola’s capital and largest city Luanda beginning next month.
Ethiopian has been serving Angola for the past four decades having operated its maiden flight in June 1986.
On Thursday, the national flag carrier announced the launch of additional frequencies on its Addis Ababa-Luanda flight route.
“As of March 31, 2024, Ethiopian will fly daily to Luanda availing more convenient flight opportunities” for travelers, the airlines said in a statement.
It added: “The frequency increment will strengthen the socio-economic activities between Angola and Ethiopian global destinations.”
Currently, Ethiopian Airlines operates international passenger and cargo flight services to more than 130 destinations across five continents.
