The condolence book is in honour of those who lost their lives after a Nairobi-bound Ethiopian Airlines plane crashed a few minutes after take-off from Addis Ababa.
At least 157 passengers perished and more than 32 of the victims were Kenyan nationals.
The Kenyan Embassy in Gaborone said the condolence book would remain open until Thursday.
Meanwhile, the European Union Delegation to Botswana and the Southern African Community Development also expressed its condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of all passengers and crew on the Ethiopian Airlines ET302 flight.
Of the victims a number were European nationals while 19 were United Nations staff members on their way to the United Nations Environment Assembly in Nairobi.
