APA – Kigali (Rwanda) – Rwanda on Tuesday unveiled a newly reshuffled government with the minister of Public services and Labour, Emergency Management and Education replaced.
In a statement by the Prime Minister’s Office late Tuesday, Jeannine Munyeshuli has been appointed as a new State minister of the Public Investments and Privatization replacing Eric Rwigamba who will move to
head the ministry of Agriculture as State minister.
Under the new government, four state ministers, were affected to other portfolios, while the former minister of Defense, Maj. Gen. Albert Murasira has been tapped to take over as the new minister of Emergency Management.
Meanwhile, Prof. Jeannette Bayisenge will relinquish his post as the Minister for Gender and Family Promotion to become the Ministry of Public Service and Labour replacing Fanfan Rwanyindo Kayirangwa who has not been appointed in any other senior government position.
Marie Solange Kayisire, who was until now the minister for Emergency Management will replace Assoumpta Ingabire as the new minister of State for Local Government while Sandrine Umutoni, until recently Director General in the office of Rwanda’s First Lady is the new Minister of State for Youth.
