The UN radio report said that it was the fourth clash of the day after a brief lull observed on Monday night.
In the area commonly called “Three Antennas”, in Virunga Park more precisely, heavy weapons fire rang out, several local sources were
quoted by local media. This area remains the scene of clashes for around four days between the FARDC and local militias against the M23.

Meanwhile, traffic has been cut off on this axis. People from this section are forced to restrict their various daily activities. The inhabitants of Goma and Nyiragongo are forced to stock up basic necessities because of the outbreak of hostilities in the area..
The M23, according to the reports, intend to receive reinforcement from Kibumba and Buhumba.
