As part of the intensification of the fight against corruption, Captain Ibrahim Traore, received on November 18 in Ouagadougou, members of the Advisory Council of the Commission for the Regulation of Dysfunctions (CRD).
According to Ragnang-newinde Isidore Tiemtore, Special Advisor to the President in charge of good governance and the fight against corruption, their meeting with Traore follows the official installation of the members of the Advisory Council on October 26.
The commission, created by the Council of Ministers on July 24, 2024 and attached to the Office of the Head of State, has as its main missions to identify and correct dysfunctions in public administrations, as well as to monitor the execution of judicial and administrative sanctions.
President Traore emphasised his vision of fighting corruption, considered an obstacle to national development.
He encouraged the members of the council to be actors of behavioural change, encouraging them to transform speeches into concrete actions to improve peoples’ daily lives.
