This verification comes in response to an audit conducted between December 2023 and June 2024, which identified irregularities in the records of certain civil servants.
Prime Minister Raymond Ndong Sima announced that civil servants whose situations are found to be irregular will face disciplinary action. As part of the verification process, the government will be issuing cash vouchers to eligible civil servants for the month of October.
To receive the cash vouchers, civil servants must present an original certificate of presence at their assigned post, provide proof of regular posting outside of Libreville, and submit other required documents. The verification process will take place at the Palais des Sports in Libreville starting on Friday, October 25th.
The government’s goal is to regularize the administrative situation of civil servants and ensure the efficient management of public resources. By identifying and addressing irregularities, the government aims to improve the overall efficiency and accountability of the civil service.
