Ebrima Mballow a former Gambian interior minister has died in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah after a brief illness, APA learnt on Monday.
Mr. Mballow was appointed interior minister during President Adama Barrow’s first term in office.
He was subsequently appointed by Mr Barrow as the country’s Consul General in Saudi Arabia.
It comes a month after the passing of sitting Gambian vice-president Badara Alieu Joof in India.
President Barrow is yet to name Joof’s replacement.
