The Black Queens of Ghana on Tuesday beat their Gabonese counterparts, Le Pantherese 2-0 in the second leg match of the 2020 Olympic Games qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Queens won the first leg 3-0 in Gabon to bring the score line to a 5-0 aggregate victory over the Gabonese team.
The Ghanaian team will now take on the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the third round of the qualifiers.
Ghana scored the opening goal in the 15th minute through skipper, Portia Boakye, but wasted many scoring opportunities.
The Gabonese, playing with determination, stunned the Queens with some very impressive play, and nearly fetched the equaliser before the interval.
The Queens dominated the latter part of the game and sealed the victory in the 75th minute through a goal by Juliet Acheampong.
