Speaking at the 109th anniversary celebration of Adisadel College in the Cape Coast, President Akufo-Addo urged the citizens to believe in their country and contribute their quota to the development of the nation.
The Daily Graphic, writing on the same subject, said the President urged Ghanaians to point out his administration’s mistakes rather than running down the nation, which has a far reaching effect on the growth and image of the country.
The Goldstreet Business, for its part, says the Ghana Inter-bank Payments and Settlements Systems (GhIPS) is aiming at introducing a single window to replace the old system, where multiple platforms were used for payments and settlements.
The scan and pay technology, according to the paper, will make payments more flexible and cheaper for merchant outlets, who would utilise the new technology.
