Uganda police is probing the death of an Indian national at his hotel room at Speke hotel in Kampala.
According to Luke Owoyesigyire the Deputy spokesperson of Kampala metropolitan police the circumstances under which the Indian national Naland Natsha aged 53, was found dead in his hotel room over the weekend remained unclear.
Owoyesigyire says Naland’s body was found lifeless by hotel staff when they had gone to clean his room on Sunday morning and they notified police.
According to Police a postmortem has been conducted and shows that the Indian national had blood clots in his lungs which are suspected to have caused difficulties in breathing.
“We have recovered Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage and recorded statements that will help us in investigations,” Owoyesigyire said.
Naland who was working with Mahindra Consulting Engineers is said to have arrived in Uganda on May 5th 2019 on a working visit.
