Rwandas Foreign Affairs minister, Richard Sezibera presided over the early-morning opening ceremony, which drew a number of senior government officials, ambassadors and representatives of the private sector.
The inauguration comes after the two countries established diplomatic ties in June 2014, following the signature of a partnership agreement hat established the a forum for consultations between the two countries.
Some key areas of cooperation between the two countries are focusing on three bilateral pacts signed in 2016 that focus on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports and joint declaration in the field of agriculture.
Another memorandum of understanding on consultations between the two countries aims is to serve as a mechanism for promotion of cooperation in various areas, including education, health, energy and technology transfer, reports said.
