This was disclosed Wednesday after the top Rwandan diplomat held talks with the newly appointed Israel Ambassador to Rwanda, Ron Adam during the discussions that focused on bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Since June 2014, Rwanda has signed a partnership agreement with Israel that establishes a forum for consultations between the two States.
One year later in 2015, Rwanda established an embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Some key areas of cooperation between the two countries are focusing on three bilateral pacts signed in 2016 that focus on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports and joint declaration in the field of agriculture.
Another memorandum of understanding on consultations between the two countries aims is to serve as a mechanism for promotion of cooperation in various areas, including education, health, energy and technology transfer, reports said
