Ivorian actor Lancine Toure, also known as Lance Toure died in Abidjan on Sunday after a long illness, APA can report on Monday from his family.
The death occurred between 22h and 23h (GMT) at his home in Abidjan, after a protracted long illness, one of Toure’s biological sons told APA.
The late actor/comedian had not been seen in new TV shoots for a long time.
He played roles in successful series such as “Sida and la cite” (AIDS in the City) which revealed his genius and talent to the general public.
In “Les coups de la vie” (The Blows of Life), another series broadcast on African channels, he showed maturity on stage.
Lance Toure was a pedagogical advisor and was concurrently doing his job as an actor, which sometimes kept him from his family.
Born in 1955 in the central city of Bouake, the seasoned actor is survived by six children.
