According to the agenda of the French President consulted by APA on the official website of the Elysée Palace, the two leaders will meet at 6pm (local time).
Mr. Ouattara was last officially received at the Elysée by Mr. Macron in April. During this meeting, the two discussed several topics related to bilateral cooperation.
They had discussed, among other things, the construction of line 1 of the Abidjan metro (to be delivered by 2021 at the latest) and the regional anti-terrorist centre to be based in Jacqueville, Cote d’Ivoire.
Before his French trip, the Ivorian President took part in the 32nd Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
In the margins of the summit, Mr. Ouattara participated in the 28th Forum of Heads of State and Government of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM). He also held discussions with some of his counterparts and many other personalities.
