Leaked papers in Somalia have led to the postponement of examination in high schools across the country, affecting tens of thousands of final-year students.
According to reports on Tuesday, the papers were leaked on social media after being purportedly sold and distributed
Speaking on national television, Education Minister Abdullahi Godah Barre said earlier exams that students had sat for have been declared null and void, prompting some students to take to the streets of the capital, Mogadishu.
The minister said the exams will hold at the end of the month while social media sites will be closed down during this period to avoid further leaks.
It is not clear which social media sites were involved in the leaks.
