President George Manneh Weah has expressed optimism that the collaborating opposition political parties will not succeed in forming a coalition that will succeed in unseating him in the 2023 Presidential election.
“Let me tell you, fellow partisans, that the coalition of the opposition is a house divided like any other divided house; iIt cannot and will not stand,” the Liberian leader said Saturday during a retreat of his governing CDC party. He however cautioned partisans of the ruling party to remain focused.
