According to official results from the diplomatic mission, seen by APA on Monday, “out of 20,606 registered on the electoral list, some 10,898 voters took part in the vote in Abidjan and in several cities across the country” in 72 polling stations.
Incumbent President Sall came first with 6,833 votes against 2,645 for Idrissa Seck.
Ousmane Sonko of the Sonko for President Coalition bagged 1078 votes, followed by El Hadj Issa Sall with 202 votes and Madické Niang who polled 48 votes.
A total of 6,683,043 Senegalese nationals are registered on the electoral roll.
