His appointment comes a few days after Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye’s visit to Bamako.
Mali has appointed a new ambassador to Senegal. Diplomat Boubacar Biro Diallo, Foreign Affairs Adviser, was appointed by Colonel Assimi Goïta, head of the Malian transition, to replace Mandjou Dioubate at the Council of Ministers meeting on Wednesday 12 June.
Mandjou Dioubate was received on 12 April by Yassine Fall, Senegal’s new Minister for African Integration and Foreign Affairs in the government led by Ousmane Sonko.
This replacement comes after Bassirou Diomaye Faye’s visit to Bamako on Thursday 30 May.
