Fatima Zahra Chajai secured gold in the -61 kg category, besting Belgium’s Maryam Ajaray. Kazakhstan’s Assel Kanay took home bronze.
This international tournament follows the inaugural Paris event in January and features the world’s elite karate athletes. The Karate Premier League continues in Cairo, Egypt (April 19-22) before heading to Casablanca, Morocco (May 31-June 2).
